The National First Ladies Library & Museum is visiting Arizona and excited to present a short program highlighting some of the "untold stories" of our nation's First Ladies. These women were highly accomplished leaders who had a significant impact on the shape of our country and our culture, not only during their tenure as First lady, but also throughout their lives. The presentation will also include historical references to First Ladies who have ties to Arizona, including Helen Taft, who was First Lady when Arizona became a state. We hope you will plan to join us.
The National First Ladies Library and Museum shines a light on the iconic role of the First Lady of the United States and fosters a deeper understanding of the influence this position has played in shaping our nation and the world at large. As the only Historic Site in the country dedicated to preserving the legacies of these remarkable women, we tell the story of American history through the eyes of the women who lived it, right alongside the Presidents.
