Patrick John McMahon, a multi-talented performer whose parents were on the road with their vaudeville act during his childhood, is a well-known television and radio personality in Phoenix. Since 1960, when he started appearing on KPHO-TV’s “Wallace and Ladmo Show,” he has been active in movie roles, and is also a Capitol Records recording artist. He has appeared in over 9,000 recorded “Wallace and Ladmo Shows” and proudly shares seven Emmy Awards.
Pat McMahon is remembered for his many clever characters on the “Wallace and Ladmo Show,” but perhaps his most famous was “Gerald," the spoiled brat. Gerald's very appearance through the door of the set could incite mayhem among children in the studio audience, as well as for those at home in front of the screen.
Along with numerous fundraising activities and speaking engagements, Pat McMahon, together with his wife, Duffy, head The Idea Company, that helps businesses and organizations with creative projects. Remaining very active in the field of communications, Mr. McMahon currently hosts a morning talk show on KTAR radio. Pat McMahon has received many personal awards, including National Radio Programmer of the Year.
