Please join us for our October bus tour to Prescott. We will leave from the Arizona Heritage Center at 8 a.m. to visit the Museum of Indigenous People followed by lunch at the Hassayampa Inn. The stone buildings on the campus of the museum are on the National Register of Historic Places. Inside the museum are pre-historic, historic and contemporary examples of Indian culture and artistic material from the southwestern United States and northern Mexico. The museum director will be our speaker.
Lunch is at the Hassayampa Inn with its classic character and charm located in the downtown Prescott Historic District. A speaker will tell us more about the history of this "roaring twenties" beautifully restored 1927 boutique hotel.
Tour is limited to 35 (League members receive preference); cost is $120 for league members and $130 for non-members; price includes bus transportation, tour, lunch with non-alcoholic beverage, taxes and gratuities. Make payment online on the website or make check out to Historical League, Inc. and mail to Lindy Isacksen or bring to September 9 meeting. RSVP at the meeting or if you can't be there, let Lindy Isacksen or Linda Fritsch know you're coming. They want the final count by September 20.
